Welcome
Box Hill's Trusted Local Electricians
Not many corners of Sydney have flipped from rural acreage to master-planned family estates in a single decade. This one did, and that pace rewards an electrician who already knows the ground under it.
We carry NSW Electrical Contractor Licence #452529C and hold Master Electricians Australia membership. Work only starts once the price is agreed on paper and you have said yes.
Our about page goes deeper on how the team runs.
What we do
The Electrical Services We Handle Across Box Hill
Boards, lights, chargers, urgent call-outs and all the work in between, run by one licensed crew off a written price agreed first. The full spread sits below.
Switchboard Upgrades
Load ducted air, solar and a benchful of appliances onto a two-storey home, and the board it shipped with soon has no room left. A switchboard upgrade replaces it with a neatly labelled board, a safety switch minding each circuit.

Light Installation
Downlights set flush overhead, dimmers and pendants indoors, security floods out the back. Homes along The Water Lane bring us in on light installation, be it one fixture or a whole-house refit.
Learn more
EV Charger Installation
The charger gets its own circuit, matched to the car, as long as the board has headroom to give. Pick EV charger installation and you charge overnight at home without the lights dipping elsewhere.

Emergency Electrician
Hot smells, arcing you can see, a home that abruptly goes dark, none of it waits for business hours. Phone an emergency electrician the moment a fault looks serious.
Learn more
Level 2 Electrician
Anything touching the mains, meter or service line sits on the network side, and that demands Level 2 accreditation beyond a general licence. Turn to Level 2 work for everything from the street pole down to your point of supply.
Learn more
Residential Electrician
Hunting down faults, putting in new circuits, wiring a renovation, the everyday trade behind a home's walls. Call a residential electrician for any job living out past the meter.

Local knowledge
What Older Box Hill Homes Need from a Sparkie
The 2013 rezoning under the North West Priority Growth Area left the suburb in two halves. One half is brand new: at the 2021 census 97.8 percent of dwellings here were separate houses, the bulk of them raised after 2015.
The other half is what came before. Rural-residential acreage pockets cling to the suburb edges, older than the estates around them, and they bring their own kind of work.
Those two profiles pull us in opposite directions. This year the busiest side is the fresh house-and-land stock off Terry Road, where the theme is nearly always capacity.
Pools and spas drive a fair chunk of that work. Add one to a big new block and it needs its own protected circuit, RCD included, wired to standard.
Over on the acreage near Mount Carmel Drive the picture flips. Many of those older homes went up without modern safety switches, so retrofitting an RCD comes first, ahead of anything else.
New estate street or an original acreage block by Brindle Parkway Reserve, the method holds firm: open the board, read what is actually there, and only then price the job.
An Electrical Emergency in Box Hill? Act Fast
Some faults refuse to wait for a weekday, and a hot-plastic stink ranks loudest of the lot. Get us on the phone the moment one of these appears:
- A sharp chemical odour rising off a power point or the board
- A switch plate or light fixture that feels warm to the touch
- A tripped safety switch that refuses to stay set
- A spark, crackle or hum you can hear near a socket or switch
- One area gone dark while power holds elsewhere in the house
- Cabling gone charred, bare or plainly marked by heat
When a whole street loses power, the culprit is usually an outage on the Endeavour Energy grid, nothing behind your meter. From the switchboard in, though, the fix is ours.
Grief tends to spike across the hotter months. Cumberland Plain heatwaves and their afternoon storms load up cooling gear and stormwater at once, and a board pushed beyond its rating in that heat brings us out often.
Switch the supply off at the board where you safely can, then ring us. We turn up fast, often same or next day, and quicker again when it is a real emergency.
How we work
Our Process Keeps You in the Loop
Four clear stages take you from your first call right through to the compliance certificate. Every one plays out where you can see it.
- 01
Tell Us What Is Going On
Give us the rundown on the fault or the plan by phone, and we get you into the diary. You get a reminder text the day ahead.
- 02
Priced on Site
A sparkie drops by, reads the job in person, and hands over a fixed written quote. Nothing proceeds without your go-ahead.
- 03
Fitted and Left Tidy
In goes the premium gear, drop sheets cover the floors, and each circuit picks up a label as its wiring is run.
- 04
Tested and Signed Off
We test everything, sort out any compliance paperwork the job needs, and send you the finished photos.
Why Box Hill Locals Choose Us
Most of our callers here are young families who bought in for the long haul, which means they want an electrician to keep on hand for years rather than a one-and-done. Hence the repeat business.
Straight Answers, Plain English
We put the standards into plain terms then and there, so you come away knowing what a safety switch (RCD) does and why each circuit needs one.
One Price, Fixed in Writing
You have the price agreed on paper before we start. We don't charge by the hour, and there are no surprises on the invoice.
Backed for the Life of the Home
A lifetime workmanship guarantee sits under every job we complete. Where a fault comes down to our workmanship, we return and fix it for free.
A Track Record You Can Check
Over 600 five-star reviews stand to the name's credit. Neil, via Google, said we swapped out a couple of fittings not up to code while on site, and he has since rebooked us for his board.

Compliant Electrical Work, Done Safely
Every job has a safety bar to clear, and you finish with the proof it did. Four things stay put, whatever the work.
Wired to AS/NZS 3000
The AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules shape every stage of the job. New safety switches and clear labelling on each circuit are built in, not an upsell.
Certificate of Compliance
Notifiable work closes with a certificate of compliance lodged with NSW Fair Trading. Its cost was priced into the quote from day one.
Accredited You Can Verify
Our Master Electricians Australia membership is accreditation you are free to look up and confirm, instead of taking it on faith.

Anybody on your property holds full insurance and a NSW contractor licence open for you to check.

Common questions
Frequently Asked Questions
A few points people here like to confirm before booking. If we have missed yours, ask away on the call.
How much does an electrician cost in Box Hill?
We work to a fixed written price, never an hourly rate. Your sparkie prices the job on site, you approve the price in writing, and a first job with us takes $50 off the total.
Do you do small jobs like a single power point?
Absolutely. A single extra power point gets the same care from us as a full board upgrade, and either way the price is on paper before we begin.
What electrical services do you offer?
One licensed crew covers switchboards, lighting, EV chargers, Level 2 work, emergencies and general house wiring. Anything sitting past your meter is ours to handle.
What suburbs do you service around Box Hill?
Rouse Hill, The Ponds, Riverstone, Kellyville and Beaumont Hills are all on the weekly run. This is home turf, so the next street over is rarely a long wait.
Do you charge a call-out fee in Box Hill?
Quoting is free. Your sparkie drives out to the estate and prices the work, and that visit costs you nothing whether or not you proceed.
Is my old switchboard dangerous?
Boards running without a safety switch pose a real risk when a fault lands, and some older acreage homes on the edges still have them. We check yours and tell you straight.
